Filming Day 1

Shooting in the streets commenced today. Living on the set is interesting, you gotta get an escort to go to and from home. Thanks, Nicole! Extras running all over, groups of young girls (and I gotta say more than a few old dudes) screaming at every white van with tinted windows that rolls by. Woke up this morning and the car is blocked in by about a dozen semi-trailers full of equipment and my doorbell rings and go down to see who it is and its that Sparks crew (real troopers) and bam Michael Mann walks by on the sidewalk. Just that kind of day.
